Overview

Welcome to Refresh Works. By booking a service or using our website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before scheduling a service or submitting a request.

Services

Refresh Works provides residential property refresh, light maintenance, and repair services.
All services are offered as described on our website, and may be adjusted or customized based on your specific project needs.

We reserve the right to update or modify services, pricing, or availability at any time.

Estimates & Pricing

  • All pricing provided through online forms, email, or phone are estimates only until a final quote is confirmed.

  • If additional work or materials are required once the job has begun, you will be informed before any extra costs are added.

  • Prices do not include GST unless otherwise stated.

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Accepted payment methods: e-transfer, credit card, or cash.

  • Late payments may be subject to additional fees.

  • Deposits are required to book and are non-refundable once the date has been scheduled.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

  • If we must reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances (such as weather or material delay), you will be notified as soon as possible.

90-Day Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work.

  • All workmanship is guaranteed for 90-days from the completion date. This covers issues related to our labour - including caulking, painting, patching, and fixture installations.

  • This guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, wear & tear, leaks or moisture issues, customer supplied materials, work modified by others after completion or pre-existing structural problems.

  • Materials and fixtures are covered by their manufacturer’s warranties where applicable.

Property Access

  • The client must ensure safe and clear access to the work area, including:

  • Power and water access (if needed).

  • Removal or protection of personal items prior to service.
    Refresh Works is not responsible for accidental damage to items left in the workspace that were not moved or protected in advance.

Liability

  • While every effort is made to ensure safety and care, Refresh Works is not liable for:

  • Pre-existing issues or defects in walls, fixtures, or property surfaces.

  • Delays caused by material shortages, supplier delays, or client unavailability.

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services.

Photos & Marketing

  • Before and after photos may be taken of completed work for quality control and marketing purposes.
    No personal or identifying client details will ever be shared without consent.

  • If you prefer not to have photos of your project used, please notify us in writing before work begins

Privacy

  • All client information, including names, addresses, and contact details, is kept confidential and used only for communication, scheduling, and invoicing purposes.
    We do not share or sell your information to third parties.

Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.
    Any disputes will be handled within Alberta jurisdiction.
